Scope:

Game theory is a resourceful mathematical framework to analyze complex interactions of cooperative or competing decision makers taking into account their preferences and requirements. The far-reaching achievements of Game Theory are well manifested by 8 Nobel prizes for researchers in this field, most recently in 2007 for “the foundations of mechanism design theory”. GameNets 2012 aims to bring together the leading researchers in Game Theory together for an informal yet informative gathering which hopefully will lead into new collaborative research initiatives and help advance the state-of-the-art. Hereby we encourage prospective authors to submit their original, unpublished work covering (but not limited to) the following topics:

  • Novel solution concepts such as equilibrium solutions or core solutions
  • Dynamic and stochastic gamesCoalition formation games
  • Evolutionary game theory for wireless networks
  • Super-modular and sub-modular games
  • Mechanism design
  • Truthfulness and profitability in auctions and their applications to
  • communication networks
  • Correlated equilibrium
  • Analysis of security and privacy in networks via game theory
  • Reinforcement and Q-learning
  • Imperfect/asymmetric information games
  • Self-organizing and cognitive radio networks
  • Femto-cell coexistence and scheduling
  • Multi-armed and restless bandit
  • Game Theory for Cloud Computing and its Application
  • Investigation of the Price of Anarchy (PoA)
  • Evolutionary games in wireless networks
